Wonderful World 1
Wonderful World 1 is an interactive online English programme for children that lays a solid foundation for learning the language. Through engaging topics, games, exercises, songs, short videos and visual materials, children learn new words and phrases in a natural, fun and memorable way.
The programme develops the core language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing – and encourages children to use English actively from the very first lessons. The online classes are lively and age-appropriate, and the teacher supports every child to take part, ask questions and build confidence in communicating in English.
After completing Wonderful World 1, children will be able to:
- introduce themselves and share short information about themselves;
- name familiar objects, people, animals and actions;
- understand and use short instructions and everyday expressions;

- listen to and understand short texts, songs and conversations;
- read short words and sentences in English;

What will the children learn?
During the course, children will learn basic words and phrases on topics close to them, such as:
- greetings, introductions and basic personal information;
- colours, numbers, shapes and classroom objects;
- family, friends and everyday activities;
- toys, animals and pets;
- food and drinks;
- clothes, parts of the body and emotions;
- home, rooms and the objects around them;
- weather, seasons and favourite activities.
What grammar foundations will they build?
During the course, children will start using basic language structures suited to a beginner level:
- To be – I am, you are, he/she is;
- Have got / Has got;
- This is / These are;
- There is / There are;
- Can / Can’t;
- Like / Don’t like;
- basic question words – What, Where, Who, How old;
- singular and plural;
- personal pronouns and possessive adjectives;
- short questions and answers.
Wonderful World 1 turns online English lessons into a curious and enjoyable adventure in which children discover the language through topics from their own world and make a confident start to their learning.

My tutor is a unique professional! Idea/Recommendation - when training IT people (like our group), a module could be inserted that is missing in the standard textbook and curriculum, but would be useful from the start - for additional email writing and IT-oriented information.
